During the last two years, Gillis Gilkerson has been honored to have been selected to construct projects that have been designed to achieve LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. These are “green” (also called “sustainable” and “high performance”) buildings that are recognized for their commitment to efficient use of energy and water, use of locally sourced materials, recycling of construction waste and similar efforts. Some of these projects include:
- Perdue Farms Headquarters, Salisbury, MD – LEED® Platinum
- Royal Farms, Salisbury, MD – LEED® Certified
- PNC Bank, Princess Anne, MD – LEED® Certified
- Salisbury Zoo Animal Health Center, Salisbury, MD – LEED® Certified
